Sow 8 weeks before transplanting outdoors. Eggplant seeds germinate best at 24 \u00b0C to 32 \u00b0C, after being rinsed\/soaked in very hot water. When germination stagnates, lower the temperature to 20 \u00b0C, which will stimulate the remaining seeds to germinate.
