The arrowleaf cacalie is a very tall, elegant perennial native to the American prairies, with superb, slightly glaucous and sometimes purplish foliage. It tolerates a wide range of soils, and even drought once well established. Young leaves can be eaten cooked. 1.6 to 3m. Zone 4.
