Devil's Ears' lettuce is an imposing romaine with spreading, burgundy-infused, pointed-ear-shaped leaves in tawny and amber hues, with a hint of green throughout... Crunchy in texture, with no bitterness, it's also slow to set seed. Hardy enough to overwinter under snow following a September sowing like our Winter Red. Harvesting starts at 30 days. 60 days to maturity.
