La tomate Rosabec est une variété déterminée aux beaux fruits roses, fermes, uniformes et lisses. Cette beauté, baptisée en 1975, est la première tomate rose déterminée fixée du Québec, sélectionnée par M. Roger Doucet à la Station Provinciale de Recherche Agricole de St-Hyacinthe.
Non seulement belle, elle est bonne, d’une saveur bien équilibrée entre la douceur et l’acidité. Elle est productive aussi, poussant bien même en régions plus fraîches aux étés courts. Son port est déterminé mais les plants vigoureux sont assez hauts, s’élevant jusqu’à 80 cm. Hâtive: premiers fruits mûrs seulement 63 jours après la transplantation.

Sow 5 to 6 weeks before the last frost. Keep potting soil between 24°C and 32°C. Transplant when the first true leaves appear, then store between 16°C and 20°C until transplanting to the garden, around 4 weeks after transplanting.
