Loin de la Vénétie, on peut quand même goûter un radicchio exquis, tendre et croquant (cru ou cuit) grâce à cette lignée de la chicorée Rosso di Treviso en pollinisation libre, assez uniforme, avec des variations intéressantes. De magnifiques pommes allongées aux différentes teintes de pourpre avec veines blanches au dessin contrastant. Récoltez en automne. Cette variété tolère les gels légers.
