Mideast Peace cucumber

Mideast Peace' is a Lebanese-type cucumber selected and fixed by open pollination from an F1 hybrid by Alan Kapuler of Peace Seeds in Oregon. It has the soft, smooth, thin skin typical of this Middle Eastern type (in a slightly plumper version), is prolific, and stores well, staying good even when the skin starts to wilt. Approx. 16 cm long. About 60 days to maturity.

Sow when the soil is very warm, at least one week after any danger of frost, 1.5 cm deep, 7 cm apart. Thin out every 20 cm. Keep 1.5 to 2 metres between rows.
