organic wild pansy
$4.75 - $15.00Price range: $4.75 through $15.00
Viola tricolor, Violaceae
Johnny-Jump-up
Violet, white, yellow in a multitude of variations... The valiant wild pansy accompanies us from the melting snow to the end of the harvest. Lend it a plot of land to enjoy its encouraging presence, and use it regularly in salads, as its flowers and leaves impart a delicate wintergreen aroma. Taken as an infusion, syrup or tincture, it is a blood purifier, diuretic, soothing and expectorant. In the garden, we suggest sowing it in summer and planting it at the end of the season so that it flowers the following spring. It is then left to perpetuate itself.
