organic Greek basil
$4.50
Ocimum basilicum minimum, Lamiaceae (Labiatae)
Greek basil grows in a perfect ball, as if pruned. It is more tolerant of wind than its broad-leaf cousins. It's also easier to dry without blackening. Its taste is more concentrated. Transplanted into a pot, it's the perfect companion plant that can be carried anywhere within easy reach.
