Crepe mallow is an annual vegetable that's easy to grow in sun or semi-shade. Vigorous, it can reach 2 m 40 in rich soil! Its large leaves with curly margins are highly decorative, whether on the plate or all over the curves of the human body, where they make chic emollient poultices. An unpretentious green that's delectable steamed and transformed into spicy Moroccan-style purée, fried, or raw in salads. Its action is slightly laxative and depurative.

After any danger of frost, sow at a depth of 0.5 cm, spacing sufficiently to then thin out to one plant every 50-60 cm. Leave 1m between each row. To significantly improve germination, lightly scarify the seeds between 2 sheets of sand paper before sowing.
